Denise has a BA in Music Therapy and a Master’s in Social Work. Denise has been uniquely equipped to work with children, adolescents’ individuals.

She uses a narrative approach to counseling, which is helping a person retell their story. She believes that life is a journey and we are writing the script. During the journey things may happen that one doesn’t understand, but with faith, hope and the love of God we can be over comers and use our struggle to help someone else along the way. In that story comes many lifelong lessons. One of Denise’s favorite passages of scriptures is Ephesians 6:10-17 which is what keeps her strong through the struggles of life.

Denise is a native of Arlington, Virginia and grew up in Alexandria Virginia. She uses her faith on a daily basis because everyday can be a challenge. With the help and guidance of God, everything is possible to overcome. Denise is a single parent of a beautiful five year old girl. She attends Shachah World Ministries in Beltsville, Maryland. Denise enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
