Lighting THE WAY to Hope and Healing

Lighthouse Christian Counseling was established in 2003 by John and Julie Hickson. Julie Hickson is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland and John is the Director taking care of all the needs of the counseling center.

We believe that God had placed on our heart the need to offer to the mid-shore a Christian Counseling Center to meet the needs of the body of Christ and the community.

In 2005, we expanded our services to serve Anne Arundel County with an office in Crofton.
In 2006, additional offices opened in Silver Spring, Maryland and Middletown, Delaware.
In 2007, services were expanded to the Northern Virginia area.
